Welcome to your confessional for CYS 19: The Stone Age. It is in this thread that you will confess your thoughts about the game, the players, and anything else you wish to say.
Like previous seasons, we are asking that everyone does video confessionals. Video confessionals make the season much more fun to watch from a viewer perspective. Obviously, you can still do confessionals in other forms (text, gifs, audio), but videos are preferred. Remember, that you do need at least one video confessional post per round.
In order to upload a video confessional, go to Youtube, click upload, and upload your video as unlisted. Making the video unlisted is the most important part! This makes it so we can see the video but no one else can.

I just left the first group Skype call. At first it was all awkward and I was irritated by how BEIGE everyone was.
I took a beat and reminded myself that I am a bitch and they are probably lovely people, so I listened. Hard. Like so hard. SO fucking har-- I paid attention to them though. I wrote down stuff about everyone's personal lives, particularly things I don't care about because then it looks like I am making a solid effort to know them for real, and not just strategy purposes. I find not enough people actually listen, especially in my real life and it pisses me off. Yes, this is real life, yada yada, but come on. I hate when people wait for me to finish speaking just so they can get on with whatever THEY want to talk about. I bet other people do, too. I am going to try to be a genuinely nice guy this go round.
I am not a dick, but have been trying to maintain a villainous role in the past like three or five games I have played. I think this time I might own my hero ship. We will see how long that lasts...
I KNOW! People think it's funny when I am trying to be a villain, and it's fun doing it, but I dunno if I can do that with these cun--, I mean people. See? Good for me!
I am going to the toilet and then bed.

PS - My civilization exchanged Snapchat names. Isn't that just the most darling, precious thing you have ever heard in your entire lives? I totes am excited for my new besties!!

Everyone is on a Civilization call. I want to go to the Beer Store and get a few. I don't know if I can leave this or not. They're all chatting it up. I don't wanna be the one to miss out.  We're all comparing our backgrounds in our confessionals to see what tribe we think we'll be on. I can't be bothered, so I am letting everyone figure it out and just pay attention to them. I don't particularly care who I get stuck with, other than the fact I want fun people. SO far, Ryan, mates, Vanessa, and Constance said they have the same colour as me. We will see what that means. |
