Welcome to your confessional for CYS 19: The Stone Age.  It is in this thread that you will confess your thoughts about the game, the players, and anything else you wish to say.

Like previous seasons, we are asking that everyone does video confessionals.  Video confessionals make the season much more fun to watch from a viewer perspective.  Obviously, you can still do confessionals in other forms (text, gifs, audio), but videos are preferred.  Remember, that you do need at least one video confessional post per round.

In order to upload a video confessional, go to Youtube, click upload, and upload your video as unlisted.  Making the video unlisted is the most important part!  This makes it so we can see the video but no one else can.

I will get going on video confessionals, possibly a first impressions tomorrow before I go to work, but for now, want to write down fresh thoughts in my head.

First of all, this was my initial reaction to the intro video, seeing everyone.

Quickly followed by, well f**k [don't know why I censored, seeing as that's 1 of the main words that pop out of my mouth, bad.. I know!] this is what I will consistently have to be doing.. to keep my head in the game;

Not really.. I don't have that kind of money! But uh.. if water shots count, then yeah, count me in. Anywho, I wasn't on yesterday as I thought today, Thursday was the launch! So.. I'm guessing I missed out on some crucial bonding time with everyone! It started out rocky, with Constance trying to keep everyone on their toes.. but eventually I got to grips and buttered myself into the call!

I feel good overall, there is obviously more work to be done! But so far, so good man! Now, about an hour after we were all on call, and people got on, etc, after playing that balls game and then the cards against humanity, different people messaged me saying things such as, thanks for keeping the call going, you're funny, and so on and so forth. So .. very soon, I was all like;


During the balls game, Mateus was cracking me up, his accent is going to get him very far in the game! Seriously! I quite like him, and we've spoken a little, and being in the same time zone will definitely help us both longterm. The next person I had pop up was Allan, and he and I .. just.. click, he's Canadian, loves food, I love food.. we're good. I can see us working together without a doubt.

Following up by Dalton, he said I was making him laugh in the call, I think it was at the time I tried to pronounce the civilisations/not tribes on the call.. anywho, we got talking, I think we'll have lots more to talk about later.. meaning good to work! Then next comes Ryan, now he played season 3 of big brovival, I was in the first 2 seasons as you know, I actually watched s3 bbv finale live, and it was like 3 or almost 3 my time.. I was actually enjoying it, and cheering for Ryan, and I let him know today. I don't know if he buys it.. but it's the truth. I legit wanted him to win! So hoping for some kind of connection there, ALSO, I watched him, know his game a little, so I may have a smaller upper hand despite not remembering too much of his answers as the jury was so against him LOL].


Taylor and I played and aligned, not personally but through people in big brovival season 2, my big comeback, and personally then, I wanted her out. She's super fun, and I know her a little more, HOWEVER, I know she will align with Jesse hardcore, come merge, or anything when 2 civilisations become 1. So, I can play on that a little perhaps on whatever team/civilization I am in.. I can perhaps spread or plant seeds about Jesse and Taylor.. I mean, I know Jesse is going to be playing hardcore, and hardball, I know Jesse like there is no tomorrow! Love him to bits, he's my phish but uh.. he's gotta go asap LOL.

Anywho, back to Taylor, I spoke to her and said I didn't notice she was in until I saw the snow, we connected a little, and I asked who she had a good feeling about, she mentioned Sam [of course, as I noticed during the balls game, they were very buddy buddy!] and then she said Tyler, I shared that Mateus was very cute, then I asked Allan, and she agreed he's nice! 

So uh, so far I know to watch out for Taylor x Samm. I'm not sure what other vibes were around but I liked Frank from Pro survivor last season.. hoping we can work together just as well.

Personally, I know I'm a peoples person. I know for a fact my personality will only get me so far with the cast, but hopefully it sets me up nicely for the rest of the game. I tend to have a organisational control freak thing, but I am hoping it stays dialled down this time around, so people don't target me for it. I don't know how I want to play my game yet, but I will discuss it in the video tomorrow. As for deciding the numbers.. that was all me, come on.

I wrote in the chat, call out what number you want.. I also organised writing everyone's names by their number.. and we were done before 8 PM EST. LOL.

So uh.. yeah.

I know I can sometimes be overbearing, trying to lead, keep everything in line, which can be bad.. but I think I can tweak that a little bit from a curse to a blessing. Winky face somewhere in there!

Before I post the last video of my first impressions/threats etc, I shall type some ongoing stuff, so it's going back and forth a little!

I log on this morning and then.. ! I saw we lost, and Taylor is in, well fuck. Her and Sam back together ugh. My worst nightmare for this tribe.
