CYS19 Rules

Please read the rules and sign below with the following phrase:
I, ____, hereby declare that I will follow all rules throughout the course of CYS19.

Challenges
Information: Check out each challenge for specific rules on how to compete. A lot of the challenges are to be submitted in your confessionals so just remember to post them there. There are three different types of challenges that will take place this season…
Non-Live: The challenge will last 24 or 48 hours and you are not required to show up on time.
Semi-Live: The challenge will last 24 hours, but being here on time would be very beneficial.
Live: The challenge will probably not last 24 hours so it would be in your best interest to show up on time. These challenges will either take place on Skype or the boards.
Participation: All challenges should be attempted. Failure to compete in an individual challenge will result in the inability to vote at the next Judgement.
Confessionals
Information: This is your forum to let us know your thoughts and plots and a good way of saying “I told you so” to other players once the game is finished. The more confessionals you do, the more you are appreciated for your activity. And that means you have a better shot at making All-Stars. The only people who have access to your confessionals are Production and a select few past players. These will also be used for future reference when promoting the series.
Participation: Each round, you must do at least one video confessional. More are highly recommended so the viewers can see what is happening in the game. Failure to post at least one video per round will result in the inability to compete in the following challenge.
Production
Information: We, as the hosts, reserve the right to change or add to the rules as we see fit (everyone will be notified if something does change). We are here to host the game and enjoy watching how it plays out - not to use our authority and information to influence the results. All of the challenges and twists have been predetermined and the only reason anything would change is if anyone gets removed/quits. Please feel free to contact us at any time with any questions.
Viewers
Information: A select group of past players will be able to watch the season play out. They will have access to confessionals and Judgement ceremonies. Communication with viewers regarding the season is strictly prohibited. If you talk to a viewer for the purpose of gaining information, both you and the viewer will be removed. If a viewer is breaking the rules, let Production know immediately.
Jury
Information: We will notify the remaining players once everyone has reached the jury portion of the game. We'd like for jury members to keep updated with the game so they can use their jury powers to the fullest. Jury members are strictly prohibited from communicating with players in the game for any reason. If a juror gives information to a player in the game, both parties will be questioned and the juror will be removed.
Communication
Information: Communication with players from other tribes is strictly prohibited. On Survivor, can you walk to the other tribe's beach and just start strategizing? No. You can't here either. If players from different tribes are talking, inform Production and the situation will be dealt with. Anyone who breaks this rule will be removed. Along with this rule, screenshots of conversations or recordings of conversations are never to be sent to other people in the game. It can't be done on Survivor so it can't be done here either.
Ties
Information: In the event of a tie, there will be a re-vote in which only the tied Survivors can be voted for. If there is still a tie after the re-vote, the tie will be broken based on the infamous purple rock. That will continue all the way until and including the final five. If there is a tie at the final four, there will be no revote and the tied contestants will compete in a tie-breaker challenge. If there is a tie at the Final Judgement, the third place finisher will break the tie.
Quitting
Information: If someone decides to lay down their own torch, there will be some modifications to the game. If someone quits before or during the challenge, the challenge and Judgement will continue as planned. The losing tribe(s) will still vote someone out. If someone quits during Judgement, the losing tribe will not vote another player out. If someone quits once the jury phase of the game has begun, they will not join the jury.
Judgement / Voting
Information: Every round, the losing tribe(s) will head to Judgement where someone will leave the game. For most Judgement ceremonies, you will have about 24 hours to cast your votes in your confessionals. At some point, you may be part of a Live Night when you will have one hour to cast your votes. Every Judgement will have a live vote reveal on Google Hangout. If you choose to play an idol or power, you must post that with your vote. Once the live vote reveal takes place, that is when you can make your speech about it. You can not decide to use it during the live vote reveal.
Participation: If you fail to vote on time, you will receive a self-vote. If this happens twice, you will be removed from the game.
